Can I move my OTO to different areas of my yard?
While designed as a fixed installation, the OTO can be relocated. However, this requires creating new zones in the app for each location. For frequent repositioning, creating multiple predefined zones is recommended. Note that the device needs to reconnect to WiFi after each move.
Will the OTO work during power outages?
Yes, thanks to its solar power and battery backup system, the OTO will continue to function during power outages as long as water pressure is maintained. Scheduled watering will proceed according to the last saved program. However, WiFi-dependent features may be unavailable until network service is restored.
How does the OTO handle freezing temperatures?
The OTO is not designed to operate in freezing conditions. The app will send notifications when temperatures approach freezing, reminding users to disconnect and store the device indoors. For winter storage, completely drain the unit and store it in a dry location above 32°F (0°C).
Is a subscription required to use the OTO?
No subscription is required for basic operation. Once purchased, all app features, updates, and firmware improvements are provided free of charge. The only additional costs are optional lawn treatment solutions if you choose to use those features.
